This is a very important program for players ages 14 and under all skill levels for those serious about playing club in 2024. This academy will take the place of open gyms for the 14u ages in July. We are also opening it up to incoming freshman (especially those with little to no club experience.) This program is designed to prepare you player with the skills and knowledge heading into tryouts.
*The incoming freshman group will have the option to join to academy on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-7pm & also attend our 15s open gyms from 7-9 immediately after their academy session if they would like more court time. (Additional open gym fees would be required)
The Momentum Boys Academy Program is one of our most popular offerings, consistently selling out each year. This curriculum-based program is designed to prepare your players for the upcoming club tryout season. Perfect for new players interested in club and experienced club players. This program is for players who are able to attend most or all of the sessions. You are registering for a set of 8 sessions and payment will be due on night 1 at the table. No refunds are given for missed nights. We generally end up with a long waiting list of players who will be able to fill the spot if your player is unable to attend.
Prepare for Club Volleyball Success
The program's content becomes more challenging each week, ensuring your player is ready to excel during the competitive club season. Led by certified USAV coaches with extensive experience coaching boys, this program is highly recommended for any player, 6th-9th grade, looking to play club volleyball - even if they've participated in the academy before.
Tailored to Player Experience
For returning players, the curriculum will be modified to continue challenging them and introduce new skillsets, keeping them ahead of the curve for the Fall Club Season. The program covers:
• Conditioning
• Fundamental skills
• Practice new skills in Game-play
• Rotations
• Offensive and defensive responsibilities
• Vocabulary (beginner and advanced)
• Communication
• Other essential skills
